Violence and Threats towards Pregnant Partner: Nineteen-year-old Arrested in Rosolini

A 19-year-old man has been arrested by the Carabinieri in Rosolini following a warrant for house arrest issued by the court of Siracusa. The arrest was made on the request of the prosecutor’s office, as the young man is suspected of domestic abuse and violence against his partner. The victim had previously reported numerous assaults, threats, and violence from her partner, even during her pregnancy. The investigation revealed that the woman had also been threatened with death if she decided to leave their home. As a result, the suspect has been placed under house arrest, with an electronic bracelet, and is prohibited from contacting his partner in any way.
