Vandalism against cars in the historic center of Palermo shows no signs of stopping. Recently, cars in the area of Piazza Sant’Anna were heavily damaged, and now vehicles parked on Via Cantavespri, leading to Piazza Rivoluzione and Via Garibaldi, have been targeted. Some owners found their car windows smashed in. Additionally, there have been reports of thefts from cars in the area, with one person having their window broken seven times. Tourists also fell victim to car vandalism, with a French couple having their car window broken and some items stolen.
