Valledolmo hosts Agricultural Days: Enhancing Sicilian rural areas.
Valledolmo returns to be the Sicilian capital of agriculture for five days, with the XXIV edition of the Agriculture Days fair, which, from April 27 to May 1, brings together dozens of exhibitors and local excellences in the fields of agri-food, agricultural machinery, and zootechnics in the town near the Madonie. The program includes exhibitions, sports competitions, equestrian performances, musical shows, tastings of typical products, conferences, workshops, and guided tours. The focus of this edition is on the value of niche agri-food productions. The goal is to promote the rural territory as a healthy lifestyle, encouraging the return to rural life and agricultural entrepreneurship. This year, thematic conferences and debates between institutions and farmers will be organized on the zootechnical and wine sector. The mayor of Valledolmo, Angelo Conti, highlights that this is an important opportunity to showcase innovations and technologies in agricultural mechanization and a reference point for visitors from all over Sicily to discover the products of their territory.
