Two-car collision in Viale Kennedy, Catania: one overturned, three injured

Another road accident in Catania. In the collision between two cars, which occurred in Viale Kennedy, three people were injured. One of the two cars, as a result of the impact, ended up against a wall and overturned.
Rescue services were alerted, and ambulances from the 118 intervened on the scene to assist the injured. They were treated and transported to the hospital, and their injuries are not believed to be serious.
The municipal police officers also arrived at the scene of the accident and conducted all the necessary investigations to understand the exact dynamics of the incident: both cars suffered various damages. The officers also managed the traffic since it is a very busy road and closed a part of it to carry out the investigations. Only after completing these, removing the vehicles, and securing the road surface, did the traffic return to normal.
The accident occurred a few hours before another accident involving three cars on the ring road of the city, in the direction of Syracuse, between the San Gregorio junction and the Gravina di Catania junction inside a tunnel, during which seven people were injured, including a pregnant woman and two children.
