Truck carrying potatoes overturns, Palermo-Catania highway closed near Enna
Explanation: An accident involving a potato truck flipping over has led to the closure of a section of the A19 highway Palermo-Catania near the Enna exit. The driver has been taken to Umberto I hospital in yellow code. The fire department of Enna and the highway police are on site. The accident occurred on the road towards the capital of the island. The closure is at km 119.4 in both directions and happened in a construction area.
