Triscina, a dog shot with a crossbow: appeal to find the culprit

A new episode of violence against animals in Sicily, this time in Castelvetrano. The victim was Balù, a neighborhood dog living in the Triscina area, who was shot with a crossbow and seriously injured. Balù, beloved by residents, was found bleeding and taken to a veterinary clinic by a volunteer who cares for him daily. The Italian Animal Party filed a complaint against unknown individuals. They condemned the cruelty and called for authorities to identify the perpetrator, offering a reward for information. The law punishes animal killing with up to 18 months in prison or a fine. They appealed to the community to provide any helpful information.
