Tourist suffers a heart attack at the Scala dei Turchi, transferred to hospital by helicopter: condition is serious

A Roman tourist in her forties suddenly fell ill while on vacation in Sicily. She was at the Scala dei Turchi beach with her brother when she had a cardiac arrest. Her brother tried to administer first aid while bystanders immediately called for help. An ambulance and helicopter arrived at the scene. The woman was airlifted to San Giovanni di Dio hospital in Agrigento, where she is currently in critical condition in the intensive care unit. The incident is being investigated by the local police.
