The escaped prisoner from Barcelona prison yesterday has been captured. The fugitive, who had climbed over the prison’s outer fence and disappeared, was located in the area of Milazzo port. The daring escape occurred just before 3 pm, under scorching sun, which made the streets in front of the prison almost empty. The prison itself is a historic building dating back to the early 1900s and was previously used as a forensic psychiatric hospital.
