Tension at Palermo port: No space on the hydrofoil to Ustica.

Tension arose at the port of Palermo just before the departure of the hydrofoil to Ustica. Several passengers were unable to board as there were no more available seats. About ten residents, including one furious woman, began arguing with the crew, leading to police intervention. The woman did not have a ticket, but still attempted to board. The hydrofoil had allegedly overbooked due to a large number of people traveling to the island for a fishing tournament called “L’Isola del Diamante” from October 6th to 8th. The situation eventually normalized after the police intervention and the hydrofoil managed to depart, albeit with a slight delay.
