Shock in Tortorici over Rosario Galati Rando’s death in Palermo-Catania incident

In the town of Tortorici, there is disbelief and despair over the death of Rosario Galati Rando, a young truck driver who lost his life in a car accident on the Palermo-Catania road. The 40-year-old was driving the heavy vehicle on the A19 when he lost control and fell off a viaduct near the Irosa exit, for reasons yet to be determined. Another young man from Tortorici was also in the truck and has been transferred to the Civico hospital in Palermo due to serious injuries. The news has deeply shaken the small community in Messina, who are rallying around Rosario’s family and hoping for an improvement in the other young man’s condition.
