Scimeca presents film on judge Terranova at Taormina Festival: “Portraying the first judge to fight mafia”

The film “The Judge and the Boss” tells the story of Judge Cesare Terranova and Police Marshal Lenin Mancuso, who investigate the mafia of the Corleonesi and discover its roots in the political world. The movie depicts an epic struggle against the evil represented by the boss Luciano Liggio and corrupt individuals of the institutions, culminating in a trial in 1969 in Bari. However, the trial did not end with the conviction of the mafia bosses and henchmen. Director Pasquale Scimeca emphasizes the importance of remembering all the victims of the mafia and creating a cultural movement to educate the younger generations about them. The film stars Gaetano Bruno, Peppino Mazzotta, Naike Anna Silipo, and Enrico Lo Verso.
