This morning (December 12), the functional adaptation and safety works of the sports facility at the Giuliana Saladino comprehensive institute in Palermo will start, in the presence of the city councilor for Education, Aristide Tamajo. The almost 260 thousand euro project, funded by European funds, includes the renovation of the gym’s flooring, the creation of a sound-absorbing system, the installation of new LED lighting, and the replacement of the existing fixtures with automated windows. The completion is expected by the end of April. This comes a month and a half after the inauguration of a new sports field at the same school, funded by the city council for maintenance interventions in schools.
