Record attendance at the Siracusa Inda Theater: over 160,000 spectators in three months

Explain in brief the following article:

With 160,646 spectators in three months this year, the Inda Foundation confirms itself as one of the main theater companies in Italy. The 59th season of classical performances at the Greek Theater of Syracuse recorded a very high number of attendees between May 10 and July 6, for the three performances: Ajax by Sophocles directed by Luca Micheletti in the translation by Walter Lapini and with original music by Giovanni Sollima, Phaedra (Hippolytus bearing the crown) by Euripides in the translation by Nicola Crocetti and directed by Paul Curran, Miles Gloriosus by Plautus in the translation by Caterina Mordeglia and directed by Leo Muscato, and for the two replays of the show Horai.

The Four Seasons, directed by Giuliano Peparini, featuring texts from Greek and Latin lyric, selected by Francesco Morosi and performed by Giuseppe Sartori, with the extraordinary participation of Eleonora Abbagnato. “The audience at the Greek Theater, coming from all over the world,” said Francesco Italia, president of the Inda Foundation, “has rewarded the commitment and work of the entire Inda and in particular our tradespeople. The steadily increasing number of spectators is not only a reward for the work done but also an encouragement to continue in the direction of offering quality shows with the involvement of world-renowned directors, actors, and artists.”
