Ravanusa: House set on fire, flammable cloth found.

An arson was set in a house in Ravanusa. According to an initial reconstruction, someone would have set fire to the window of a housewife’s apartment with a cloth soaked in flammable liquid. However, the flames went out on their own and the fire did not spread. The damage was limited to the window and facade. The owner, a 58-year-old woman, noticed the incident. The Carabinieri arrived on the scene and conducted all the necessary investigations, discovering the cloth soaked in flammable liquid that caused the fire. The military interviewed the housewife to see if she had seen or heard anything suspicious in recent days. The Agrigento prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation file, suspecting the crime of damage following a fire. None of the neighbors saw or heard anything suspicious.
