Private funeral for the late boss Vincenzo Di Piazza of Casteltermini

The police in Agrigento, Italy, ordered a strictly private funeral for Vincenzo Di Piazza, dubbed the head of the mafia in Casteltermini. Di Piazza, 83, was arrested in 2011 and sentenced to 18 years in prison for his involvement in organized crime. He was later placed under house arrest for health reasons. The funeral procession was not allowed, and the funeral took place with no public attendance.
