Police officers injured as car overturns during a chase in Palermo

Two officers in a patrol car intercepted two thieves in a stolen car, a Fiat 500, and chased them. During the chase, in Corso dei Mille, Palermo, the two vehicles crashed into a pole and some parked cars. The patrol car overturned, while the two thieves managed to get out of the car and escape. The officers were not injured and were taken to the hospital, with a prognosis of six days. Investigations are ongoing.
