Piana degli Albanesi attracts visitors for the Cannoli Festival.

Many visitors from all over Sicily and beyond were present yesterday, Saturday, May 11, at the first day of the Cannolo Festival in Piana degli Albanesi. The absolute protagonist of the event was the cannolo prepared by the expertise of the pastry chefs of Piana degli Albanesi and the nearby Santa Cristina Gela, but there were also numerous stands with gastronomic excellences from all over Sicily. During the opening day, there were also cooking shows, talks, and performances that entertained the many visitors who came to the festival, which will continue with many other events also on today, Sunday, the 12th.
