Palermo’s Dolce Carollo Offers Jobs to 8 Women Victims of Violence

Entrepreneur Massimo Carollo has assigned 8 job positions to as many victims of domestic violence. The official announcement was made today at the conclusion of the first conference at the Terrazze del Charleston in Mondello, Palermo, organized by the department of productive activities of the Sicilian region, in collaboration with the department of socio-sanitary policies of the city of Palermo “Not Even with a Flower”. The 8 women will start working next Monday at the Carini (Palermo) “Dolce Carollo” plant. The initiative aims to launch a new political approach to listening and addressing very delicate issues such as violence against women. The theme of femicide is essentially a cultural problem, and many women do not report out of fear of being left without a roof over their heads and economic support for their children. Thanks to the company Dolce Carollo, the goal is to give new life to some women. Additionally, there will be a project of economic support for female entrepreneurial activities, with funding from 50 to 300,000 euros, and female-owned businesses will have an advantage in the ranking.
