Palermo’s 101st birthday celebrated by colleagues in the Carabinieri

Born on December 11, 1922, Vice Brigadier Antonio Monterosso has lived a life of honorable service as a carabiniere for 36 years. He celebrated his 101st birthday, with the Provincial Commander of Palermo, General Brigadier Luciano Magrini, and some of Monterosso’s fellow soldiers, offering their congratulations at his home. Monterosso was deeply moved, sharing anecdotes from his years of service and as a war veteran. The celebration included a toast and a gift, a crest with the heraldic emblem of the Carabinieri, in recognition of his dedication to the uniform and the country.
