Palermo woman poisons husband with cyanide, enters Pagliarelli Prison after sentence

Loredana Graziano, the woman sentenced to 30 years in prison for the murder of her husband, Sebastiano Rosella Musico, a 40-year-old pizza maker, was brought to the police station by the carabinieri of the Termini Imerese territorial department before being taken to Pagliarelli prison. She had been under house arrest because she was living with a young son. The victim’s brother and sister, Domenico and Maria Concetta Rosella Musico, stated that they had always believed it was a grave injustice for Loredana Graziano to have spent these years under house arrest despite the serious charges and convictions. They felt that with this decision, they had obtained the justice they had always sought. The family had acted as a civil party assisted by lawyers Salvatore Sansone and Provvidenza Di Lisi.
