Palermo welcomes the return of the “Amici del libro” exhibition at Salinas

The third edition of “Amici del libro al Salinas” is set to take place at the Museo archeologico regionale Antonino Salinas in Palermo. The month-long literary event, organized by Lia Vicari and Caterina Greco in collaboration with CoopCulture and Retablo, will feature renowned international authors, historical publishing houses, and recent literary releases. The series of events starts on October 20 with Silvana La Spina presenting her new book “L’uomo di zolfo,” followed by a special event dedicated to Andrea Camilleri on October 27. Other highlights include Lisa Ginzburg presenting “Una piuma nascosta” on November 4, Luciano Canfora discussing “Guerra e schiavi in Grecia e Roma” on November 17, and Roberto Alajmo presenting “Abbecedario siciliano” on November 23. The event will conclude on December 3 with Luca Sommi presenting “La bellezza. Istruzioni per l’uso.” The aim of the event is to connect cultural spaces with the community, fostering a dialogue between readers and renowned authors.
