Palermo: Volunteers on a Mission to Clean Up Waste in the Depths of Mondello Gulf

The initiative “Underwater cleaning 2023” will take place on Saturday, July 8th, in the Gulf of Mondello, to clean up the sea in this popular beach resort near Palermo. This is the second edition of the event, which aims to remove all types of waste from the seabed, including plastic bottles, bags, and even truck tires. The event is organized by Owac Engineering Company, an environmental engineering company that focuses on green projects for circular economy and aims to involve new generations in marine ecosystem conservation.
