Palermo thieves on Maqueda street: burglary at a jewelry store.

Thieves broke the windows and entered a jewelry store on via Maqueda in Palermo, run by a Bengali couple. They took away the cash register and various products. Law enforcement acquired footage from the CCTV cameras in the area.

The smash-and-grab thieves continue to target that area of the city. In recent days, they targeted an oriental clothing store on via Maqueda between via del Celso and Quattro Canti, the Katena Toy toy store on a side street, via Napoli, and the Magia lingerie store on another side street, via Fiume.
