Palermo restarts project to renovate water network in South Coast: 49.5 million unlocked

The Minister of Infrastructure, Matteo Salvini, accepts the requests of the mayor of Palermo, Roberto Lagalla, and finances with 49.5 million euros the new water network of Romagnolo, Sperone, and Acqua dei Corsari in the second District. The news was confirmed by sources from the Municipality. The tender had been canceled by Amap last month. The mayor, meeting Salvini in Messina, had asked for the intervention of the Ministry of Infrastructure to save the project that affects a large area of the South Coast. The money comes from the PNRR. Its realization will allow to avoid the alternate day distribution of water.
