Palermo public transit driver attacked, hit with backpack and punched
A driver from Amat was attacked last night at the Piazza Indipendenza terminus in Palermo. The public transport company employee was struck in the face with a backpack and then punched. The carabinieri and an ambulance intervened, and the 118 paramedics transported the injured employee to the emergency room at the Policlinico hospital, where he received medical treatment, including stitches, before being discharged.
