This afternoon, the mother of the mayor passed away. Vincenzina Sanna, 90 years old, had two children, Roberto and Simonetta Lagalla. She was the grandmother of five grandchildren, the 4 children of the mayor and Simonetta’s daughter. Originally from Porto Empedocle, she was married to Giuseppe Lagalla, who worked as a firefighter for his entire life, eventually becoming a manager. Mrs. Vincenzina was a homemaker, choosing to take care of the family, especially while following her husband’s professional moves. The mayor and his family received condolences from the Giornale di Sicilia.
