Palermo hosts first edition of “Woman and Man of the Mediterranean Culture 2024” awards.

This is what Eduardo Licata, a doctoral student in criminal procedural law at the University of Palermo, Massimiliano Mazzara, an entrepreneur, Angela Sclafani, head of Artemed, Dalila Garofalo, an entrepreneur who supports women victims of violence, Marcella Cannariato, the Sicilian representative of the Marisa Bellisario foundation, and Sabrina Ciulla, the founder of the Anirbas association, which has been helping the homeless in the city and many needy families, have received.

This is the first edition of the international awards sponsored by the General States of Women and the Cirs, Professional Training Center of Palermo.

The award ceremony took place inside the 69th Mediterranean Trade Fair in Palermo. The recognition, established by Giovanna Ferrara of the cultural association Brancaccio and Musica and editor-in-chief and publisher of Brancaccio e Cultura and by Mediexpo, is awarded as a title of encouragement and example in the interest of the community to men and women who have distinguished themselves for their commitment in institutions, social and cultural fields, music, and in their professional field.

At the event, the master composer Jane Far participated with her violin. Following was a buffet tasting offered by the Cirs School.
