Palermo: City Council approves bike paths from station to hospital.

Two new bike paths have been approved today by the City Council of Palermo and included in the three-year public works program. The first path will connect the central station with the Orleans metro stop and will be funded with ministerial funds. The other path will allow riders to travel between the Policlinico and the central station through Via Oreto. The money for these projects has been sourced from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. The program update also includes three other interventions on historic buildings, which will be financed with the 2022 surplus funds. These five projects are part of the 2024 annual program.
