This is the first scene found by the forensic police who worked late into the night on the vehicle where Angelo Onorato, a 54-year-old entrepreneur among the most prominent in Palermo, was found dead. A personality also for his relationship with Francesca Donato, a Euro MP and vice secretary of the Christian Democracy party. However, many questions surround his death. Among the first interrogations by the mobile team is that of the follower of the cross, one of the two daughters and also a lawyer. The MP said: “Angelo did not kill himself.” A statement she had already made to close friends in the minutes following the tragedy. The lawyer is said to be a friend of the fifty-year-old man to whom the entrepreneur had confided “financial problems” due to debts and credits he could not collect. There is also talk of a possible letter attesting to the circumstance but there is no confirmation from the investigators yet. Overnight, it is one of the investigative leads that has gained importance. However, the first to clarify that there is not yet a clear line of evidence is Palermo’s deputy prosecutor, Ennio Petrigni, who is leading the investigation: “All leads are being investigated,” are his only words, confirming once again that the details of the case offer various investigative leads that need to be clarified.
