Palermo: 49-year-old injured in a coma at Borgo Nuovo after being stabbed four times over a dog.

A man who was stabbed by his neighbor on June 29th in Palermo is currently in a medically induced coma. The argument that led to the violence and stabbing is believed to have started over a dispute about ownership of a dog. The attacker, a 46-year-old man, demanded the return of the dog, claiming it was his, and when his request was refused, he attacked his neighbor with a knife. The victim, a 49-year-old man, sustained serious injuries, including a punctured lung, but is not in life-threatening condition. The attacker has been arrested and the police are investigating the incident. There are no surveillance cameras in the area where the incident occurred.
