Palermo: 25% increase in subscribers for the Foss season

The 2023-24 subscription campaign of the Sicilian Symphony Orchestra has seen a 25% increase, much to the satisfaction of superintendent Andrea Peria Giaconia. The orchestra’s focus on building a strong relationship with its audience and showcasing classical-romantic repertoire has been well received. The support of the regional government has also been crucial to the orchestra’s success. Despite a recent cancellation due to a national strike, the orchestra continues to look optimistically towards its upcoming concerts and beyond.
