Another 200 migrants out of the 483 currently in the Lampedusa hotspot are leaving to be boarded onto a ferry that will arrive in Porto Empedocle tomorrow morning. The remaining migrants will be transferred tomorrow with a ship. In the past three days, a total of 1,528 people have arrived, and the police have made 602 identifications yesterday and 248 today to speed up the movement to reception centers, relieving the hotspot. The prefecture of Agrigento, in agreement with the Ministry of the Interior, has transferred 1,038 people today, significantly reducing the number of people in the center. Today, due to rough seas, only two landings with 109 migrants were recorded.
