The NGO sailboat Nadir rescued a 10-meter dinghy with 47 people on board (including 5 women and 3 minors) from Congo, Gambia, Nigeria, Sudan, Mali, Senegal, and Guinea Conakry. The group, already transferred to a coast guard patrol boat and landed in Lampedusa, reported having departed from Zawya in Libya, paying 2,500 dollars. The NGO Nadir had recently rescued, in the Maltese SAR area, the boat in whose hold 10 young migrants were found dead from suffocation.
