No Acireale fans allowed for Licata away match, prefecture imposes ban.

The supporters of Acireale will not be able to attend their team’s away game against Licata, as the Prefect of Agrigento, Filippo Romano, has imposed a ban on their travel. This decision was made following the determinations of the Observatory. Not only will the fans be unable to attend the match, but they will also not be able to purchase tickets for the Ravanusa stadium, where the game is scheduled to take place. The police in Agrigento have already arranged for security measures to ensure that no fans from the province of Catania are able to follow Acireale’s away trip. Any fans who do manage to make it will be removed from the premises. This ban comes after recent clashes between the supporters of Syracuse and some Acireale ultras, which took place outside of the stadium.
