Niscemi man in his thirties arrested for drug dealing

The State Police of Niscemi arrested a thirty-year-old local man for possession with intent to distribute hashish. During a check carried out on the man, who was already known to the police, the officers seized a small quantity of hashish. A subsequent search conducted at his home led the police to find and seize another 110 grams of the same substance, a precision scale, and a sum of cash, presumed to be the proceeds of drug dealing activities. The investigating judge at the Gela court, upon the prosecutor’s request, applied the precautionary measure of house arrest during the validation of the arrest.
