Neighborhood altercation escalates, leaving two injured

A fight between two families in Favara resulted in two people getting injured. The altercation arose due to neighborhood issues. Preliminary investigation suggests that some individuals used bats or other objects to attack others. Concerned residents called the local police, who arrived at the scene and reported the incident to the prosecutors’ office. All five individuals involved were charged with offences including fighting, intentional bodily harm, and possession of offensive weapons. An ambulance also arrived at the scene to treat the injured individuals, who were then transported to the emergency room at San Giovanni di Dio hospital.
