Naro ranks tenth in Borgo dei Borghi, with last Sicilian win in 2016

Explain to me shortly on this article:
Naro, the only Sicilian town to participate in this edition of Borgo dei Borghi, ranked tenth. The final of the eleventh edition was won by Peccioli, in Tuscany, which prevailed over the other 19 villages. Twenty are in fact the villages participating in the challenge, representing as many regions and territories rich in history, tradition, and culinary art.
The last success of a Sicilian village dates back to 2016 when Sambuca di Sicilia won the ranking. Last year, Salemi, in the province of Trapani, came in third.
Here is the final ranking of the Borgo dei Borghi 2024: Peccioli (Tuscany) Badolato (Calabria) Grazie (Lombardy) Isola del Liri (Lazio) Montesano sulla Marcellana (Campania) Leporano (Apulia) Maratea (Basilicata) Arbatax (Sardinia) Castelvetro di Modena (Emilia-Romagna) Naro (Sicily) Muggia (Friuli-Venezia Giulia) Guarene (Piedmont) Celle Ligure (Liguria) Petacciato (Molise) Torreglia (Veneto) Genga (Marche) Crecchio (Abruzzo) Stroncone (Umbria) Fontainemore (Aosta Valley) Caldes (Trentino-Alto Adige).
“The town of Naro, a medieval and Baroque jewel located in the province of Agrigento, the only Sicilian village in the competition, ranked in the top 10 of the Borgo dei Borghi 2024 award, a contest related to the homonymous Rai broadcast. Thank you all for sharing this beautiful experience aimed at promoting our territory. Congratulations to the winning village and to all the other villages that participated,” wrote Maria Grazia Brandara on Facebook, immediately after the winner was announced.
