Mother-in-law killed last year in Pietraperzia, woman leaves prison for a day out with her children

Laura Di Dio, the thirty-one-year-old woman from Pietraperzia, who on February 4, 2023, killed her mother-in-law, Margherita Margani, by stabbing her with a kitchen knife and then stabbing her in the throat with scissors, has been granted a special permission to spend a morning with her children. Di Dio, currently incarcerated in Agrigento prison, is serving a sentence of 8 years and 1 month. Now, at the request of her lawyers, Salvatore Timpanaro and Antonio Impellizzeri, the Palermo Supervisory Court has granted the woman a special permission.
