More fires in Palermo province; railway line endangered by flames

Firefighters and forest rangers are currently battling several fires in the province of Palermo. One fire in Ventimiglia di Sicilia is still burning, and if the weather conditions do not change, a Canadair plane will be deployed tomorrow morning to extinguish it. There are also flames between Montemaggiore Belsito and Sciara, affecting the provincial road and potentially the railway line. Multiple teams from the fire department and forest rangers are involved in the firefighting efforts.
