Modica: Ethnic Restaurant Shut Down by Health Authorities for Operating with an Unauthorized Food Storage Facility

An ethnic restaurant in Modica has been closed down by the Asp of Ragusa following inspections by the Nas on the “Ethnic Food and Products” supply chain. The Carabinieri of the Anti-Counterfeit Unit identified several violations of hygiene and health regulations in the restaurant’s kitchens, including non-compliance with the hygiene regulations introduced by European Regulation 852/2004. Furthermore, the restaurant had illegally expanded its approved areas, and an illegal deposit of food items was also discovered.
