Milazzo march to defend public health: “More hospitals, less business”

A protest in favor of public health was held in Milazzo. The protest aimed to urge institutions to change the management of healthcare in the region and encourage citizens to defend their right to life. About seven hundred people participated in the protest, including mayors and representatives from various areas. Specific demands have been raised and a plan is being developed to recruit foreign medical staff to address personnel shortages. The plan also includes safe transportation for patients from smaller islands. However, despite some positive news, there is still a lot of skepticism and deficiencies in the healthcare system.
