Menfi’s “Park of Colors” vandalized just a week after opening
Vandalized the “Park of Colors” in Porto Palo di Menfi. The structure had been inaugurated last week and many children had been able to enjoy the games in recent days. However, someone decided to damage the area in the past few hours.
The structure had been recovered thanks to the synergy between public and private entities, with the commitment of the association “Volunteers of visionary citationists” and had been returned to the citizens on April 23 after years of neglect.
Mayor Vito Clemente’s words are touching, as he assures that the games will be repaired. Then he asks a question: “I would like to know, however, what satisfaction is there in destroying what others create, with so much passion, love, and sacrifice? Is it too difficult to respect what is public? The older ones understand that these are games for children.”
