Mazara del Vallo teen reported by carabinieri for killing protected birds

The carabinieri of the Mazara del Vallo company have reported an eighteen-year-old for carrying weapons or objects capable of causing harm and for killing animals. The military noticed the boy riding a scooter with a rifle and stopped him for a check. In addition to the rifle (4.5 mm rifle complete with optics), the carabinieri seized ten pellets of the same caliber, a switchblade knife, and two dead doves (oriental turtledove, a protected species).
