Mayor and city councilors proclaimed in Caltanissetta, Tesauro wears sash and gets emotional.

Walter Tesauro is the new mayor of Caltanissetta. This morning, in polling station number 1 at the San Giusto school, the proclamation of the mayor and city councilors took place.
These are the majority councilors elected from the lists supporting Walter Tesauro: 5 for Forza Italia, Marcello Mirisola, Gianluca Micciché, Calogero Adornetto, Fabrizio Di Dio, Giovanni Lo Magno; 4 for Fratelli d’Italia, Gianluca Bruzzaniti, Salvatore Petrantoni, Alessandra Longo, Cristian Genovese; 3 for Noi Moderati, Vincenzo Piscopo, Salvatore Mazza, Oriana Mannella; 3 for the Azzurri per Caltanissetta list, Giovanna Mulè, Guido Del Popolo Carciopolo, Angelo Antonio Scalia. Regarding the lists supporting mayoral candidate Annalisa Petitto, who enters the city council by right, 2 seats were assigned to Futura e Democratica, Armando Turturici and Carlo Vagginelli; 1 to Cl tutta la Vita, Felice Dierna; 1 to Orgoglio Nisseno, Luigi Bellavia, 1 to Insieme, Calogero Palermo and 1 to Fare centro con Totò Licata, Vincenzo Cancelleri. Finally, Roberto Gambino, the outgoing mayor, was elected on the Gambino Sindaco list, and Federica Scalia on the Movimento 5 Stelle list.
“The emotion and excitement I felt this morning wearing the tricolor sash – said Tesauro, also posting a photo on Facebook (above) – made me understand even more how important my city is to me. The sash is not just a symbol. It is concrete commitment, natural passion; it is a desire to work together for and with our city.”
Tesauro thanked the outgoing mayor. “Thank you, Roberto Gambino. Thank you because I know that, like me, you love Caltanissetta, and seeing your emotion in your eyes, similar to mine, highlighted the respect and transparency that have distinguished us. Thank you to each of you. We are all mayors: from today we will be ready to listen and dialogue, but above all, we will be ready to build new opportunities.”
