The court of Palermo declares the judicial liquidation of Mare Resort, the company of the Corvaia group that managed the Hotel delle Palme in Palermo. The decision comes at the end of the concordato preventivo procedure that had been requested by the Corvaia themselves. Two curators have been appointed, who will take care of the temporary management of the business, which will not suffer any consequences. Judicial liquidation is the procedure that replaces bankruptcy and is aimed at liquidating the assets of the insolvent entrepreneur, distributing the proceeds in favor of the creditors based on the ranking of their claims. In recent days, the hotel property was acquired by the Mangia’s group.
