Man arrested in Palermo at Zisa with 60 grams of hashish and 1,075 euros
In Palermo, the officers of the Zisa-Borgo Nuovo police station arrested a 46-year-old Palermo man, V.M. The man was caught with a large quantity of drugs while driving his car on the streets of the Zisa neighborhood. Due to his previous police record regarding drug offenses, the officers decided to search the vehicle, which resulted in the discovery of 60 grams of hashish under the rear seat, as well as €1,075 on the man. The search was extended to V.M.’s home, where more drugs were found and seized: 12 grams of cocaine, 65 grams of hashish, and 4 grams of marijuana. The drugs were seized, the man was arrested, and the arrest was confirmed. The arrest came shortly after the discovery of a drug laboratory in via Lancia di Brolo, in the Noce neighborhood, an area bordering the Zisa. Police officers intensified their surveillance in the area after finding the laboratory, but at the moment, there is no connection between the arrested man and the drug lab on via Lancia di Brolo.
