Man arrested in Marsala for stealing diesel from company

The Carabinieri of the provincial command of Trapani have arrested a 39-year-old man from Marsala accused of theft and handling stolen goods. The owner of a commercial business requested the intervention of the military because the alarm went off in the company’s warehouse during the night. During the checks, it emerged that someone had stolen fuel from the tanks. Thanks to the images from the video surveillance system, the perpetrator of the theft was seen. The man was found aboard a stolen moped while carrying four cans of diesel with 80 liters of fuel. The arrest was validated.
