Lipari motorcycle accident at Quattropani: two seriously injured

In Lipari, Palm Sunday was disrupted by a serious accident involving a motorcyclist. It happened in Quattropani on the descent of Chiesa Vecchia. Two young people on a motorcycle, due to a fall, were seriously injured. The driver is 30 years old, the girl is 25. They were transferred to the emergency room for head trauma and fractures with two ambulances from the hospital and 118. After examinations, the intervention of the helicopter rescue was requested and they were hospitalized at the Policlinico and Papardo in Messina. The carabinieri are investigating the causes.
