Large landing in Lampedusa: 25-meter fishing boat arrives with 347 migrants on board.

During the night, a 25-meter fishing boat carrying 347 migrants, including only two women, landed in Lampedusa. The boat had set sail from Zouara, Libya, and was rescued by two Coast Guard patrol boats and one from the financial police. On board, there were Bangladeshis, Egyptians, Pakistanis, and Syrians, all of whom reported paying between 4,000 and 8,000 euros for the crossing. Just four days prior, on the night of October 21-22, another large group of 245 migrants arrived on a 20-meter fishing boat.
