Lampedusa resumes migrant landings after recent halt

Rescue operations of migrants in Lampedusa resume after being halted in recent days due to bad sea conditions. 46 migrants of Egyptian, Moroccan, and Tunisian nationality arrived, after being rescued from two rubber dinghies. The two boats departed from Chebba, in Tunisia. On board were 22 and 24 people saved by the military of the Italian Financial Guard. The migrants, including only one minor, reported having paid 2 thousand euros each for the journey.
